While traversing through Kiuchi's palace, they discover that Motoha hitting a slider thrown by a Kiuchi, along with a scandal resulting from Kiuchi's purchasing of an escort, forced him off of the baseball team and into an office job, leading to his misogynistic desires.
They also appear within the CrossFate storyline where protagonist is sent backwards in time and enters a strange Monad Door. They are found within a replica of Tartarus.

There is also a seperate gacha to obtain weapons for each character. The weapons from the gacha give an specific benefit to the character who equips them. Certain character are variations of another and can’t put two versions of the same character on one team. Within the Metaverse, Mementos has been entirely overhauled, no longer being procedurally generated and has set regions. Aside from that, most of the Metaverse in general has seen little changes. Thieves Tool crafting is still present and the Palaces function identically to their Persona 5 Royal iterations. There is a mysterious park within the Metaverse that functions somewhat like the Thieves Den, having the ability to be customized.
Excluding the false Igor in Persona 5, this game marks the first time that recycled voice lines of Isamu Tanonaka are not used for Igor's Japanese voice. Igor instead has a new voice actor that provides him with brand new voice lines.

During class, the protagonist struggles to stay awake and drifts off. Once he awakens, he finds himself within the Velvet Room, and is welcomed in by Igor and Merope.
